This fly is tied on a #12 Raven Specimen wide gape hook in red. The second pic on the right is the finesse dropper. The eggs are soft otter eggs with some UV dubbing for the flash to get there attention and the finishing touch is the milty egg veil. They don't hesitate to take this fly because it looks just like eggs falling from the redds. Very strong and will hold up to many of the bigger power-house springer's. test for tippet.so pump it up a little and move into the grim's, as the biggest fish of your life should be expected.ĬRYSTAL EGG DROPPER- The first pic on the left is the the crystal egg dropper tied on a #8 Daiichi hook. When the fish are bent on mayhem they are not spooked by the line, we use minimum 10lb.

Very strong and wide gapped for better hooking and landing confidence. The hits are very strong and they mean business so light lines are not needed. They are all tied 3.5"-4" long on Mustad 3366 #1 hooks. They can be twitched or jigged, and even dead drifted to simulate dying prey. All these patterns can be used for a number of different fish from steelhead and brown in the spring and fall to the Lake Fishery game fish in your steelhead off time. Our Blue Steel is a pattern that mimics a number of different baitfish and the last is the Olive Dancer, It uses an olive barred rabbit strip, lots of flash and a body fur head with big 10mm eyes from the Flymenfishing company. The White Furry is our replica of a dead minnow with its white rabbit strip and lots of flash. We also use a lot of flash in the body to get there attention and dolls eyes. The next 3 are baitfish patterns. Our Teal Reaper is our version of the Goby, which uses a rabbit strip with a lighter body and darker tips. We use a woolhead to get it down in combination with the barbell eyes. The Yellow Blaze and the Black Furry are 2 of our faves and should be included in your arsenal. Just hold back a little on the pin to slow the drift and let the current stream-dance these babies right down the throat of trophy steelhead and browns. Drifting these under a float should also deliver at perhaps an ever higher rate. The fly guys have been throwing these sculpin and baitfish patterns for some time and are getting some of the biggest fish in the streams and lakes.

These set of flies are the start of a new chapter to our existing & exclusive steelhead offerings.
